Coat color tested E/E a/a D/D by UC, Davis; Double Homozygous for Black and Dun Dilution. . (He will only produce black based foals with dun dilution/grullas.) He has the dorsal stripe with barbs, rib barring, leg barring/zebra stripes and mottling, shoulder barring, stripes, and shadowing, neck shadow, ear tips, ear edging and cream in ears, face mask, cobwebbing, main and tail frosting, guard hairs, and he also has the Rabicano gene with a skunk tail and scattered white spotting. Tested n/n for all 5 genetic disorders (HYPP, HERDA, GBED, PSSM1, & MH). He has no impressive breeding and would make a great outcross to halter bred mares. Smoke has a great disposition and an excellent , very balanced confirmation with a long neck, a clean throat latch and a nice, big hip. He has recently been started under saddle, and he is a flat kneed, big mover. He had his first foal crop this year, and he produced a silver grulla homozygous dun filly with heavy dun factor and a really nice dun colt, as well.
